It’s always great when new lottery games are offered because it means that people will have new ways to win money. In February of 2010, Colorado Lottery launched a new game called MatchPlay; it is the first new lotto game in the state in nine years. And, it is a great game because the odds of winning are fantastic, relative to other lotto games. Indian matka
It costs $2 to play the game. But for every $2 spent, you get three lines of numbers, meaning that each line costs just 66.67 cents. To win the jackpot, you must match 6 out of 38 numbers. The odds of winning the jackpot, per line, are 1-in-2,760,681. However, since you get three lines per ticket, your overall odds of winning the jackpot per ticket are just 1-in-920,227. See what I mean about MatchPlay having fantastic odds? Compare that to Colorado’s most popular game – Powerball. The odds of winning Powerball, per ticket, are an astronomical 1-in-195,249,054. Consider this – If you buy just one ticket for each of the two games, you are 212 times more likely to win the jackpot on the MatchPlay ticket. Amazing, isn’t it?
There are other ways of winning prizes, too. You can win prizes ranging from $2 to $1000 by matching 3, 4, or 5 numbers per line or by matching at least 5 numbers combined on any of the 3 lines on your ticket. The best part of the game is that the overall odds of winning any prize are approximately 1-in-6 and those are also fantastic odds for a lottery game.
What about the jackpots? Matchplay doesn’t have mega jackpots like some of the other lotto games. Nevertheless, they’re not that bad. Jackpots start at $100,000 and will rise if they are not win. Each successive jackpot that is not win will increase by at least $100,000.
The first draw for the MatchPlay game in Colorado was held on February 23, 2010 and is now in full force. So if you live in the state of Colorado, be sure to buy a ticket and you might just be a winner in 2010!
